Great mat. Not too thin but thick enough for my needs. Clean it well before first and each use thereafter as the cork requires cleaning. No smell whatsoever which is wonderful. I would order again.

After years of practicing yoga on plastic mats, it feels soothing and tranquil to be on a mat that connects me to trees instead of dinosaur remains. The texture is softer than I expected (in a good way) and grippy enough. After their delivery partner goofed up and lost my order, 42 Birds was prompt and proactive about sending a replacement. I am so happy with this mat!

Cork layer is ultra thin and doesn’t hold up.

The lightweight mat doesn’t hood up well. After about 8 months use the mat surface cork started peeling away from the base. I thought this mat would last longer. I did like the mat til it fell apart.
