Love my new Robin mat! Highly recommend spending the money-no toxic odor and grip for hands and feet is great.

Prior to 42 birds Cork mat, I was using the OG Lululemon The Mat 5mm and kept slipping on it during Hot Yoga classes. After some research, I decided to give 42 Birds a try and see how it held up during my hot yoga classes. It offers superb grip, offers more grip when you sweat, so it's been a match made in heaven and meets all my needs! Also, it is insanely light compared to my previous yoga mat.

It’s a great yoga mat, but it is not non-slip and does not work for hot yoga practice.

I’ve been on the hunt for a looooong time for a latex free mat (allergic) that can withstand this sweaty girl’s toughest yoga sessions and have finally found it. And from a great business too? I’m winning 🙌🏼

Such a pleasure to spend time on this mat. it’s endlessly inviting. I’m Still waiting for it to lay totally flat, and the cork is not as sticky as I thought it would be (at least dry), so I end up spraying a little water on it before I begin (not a hot yoga person). But those are not problems. Not being super sticky means that unlike my previous mat, my dog’s stray hairs do not stick to it, which is a blessing!

I’ve been looking for a sustainable mat that’s nonslip and this has been awesome. I bought one for my husband

This is a replacement mat for one I purchased 3 years ago (also a 42Birds Robin) which after using 6 days a week for hot yoga, needed to be replaced.

Great mat. Not too thin but thick enough for my needs. Clean it well before first and each use thereafter as the cork requires cleaning. No smell whatsoever which is wonderful. I would order again.

After years of practicing yoga on plastic mats, it feels soothing and tranquil to be on a mat that connects me to trees instead of dinosaur remains. The texture is softer than I expected (in a good way) and grippy enough. After their delivery partner goofed up and lost my order, 42 Birds was prompt and proactive about sending a replacement. Thank you! Stellar product and service.

I am so happy with this mat!

I've always had issues with other yoga mats being too slippery, and my instructor suggested a cork mat. I'm so glad I bought one! Right out of the box this mat worked perfectly, no awkward phase where I had to break it in or try all kinds of tricks to make it less slippery. Plus the packaging that can be reused as wrapping paper is too cool!

I haven’t gotten up the nerve to try the mao, because there’s some liquid splash stain on the outside of the white carrying strap, so whatever splashed the strap also splashed on the mat. Is it water, mud, or worse?

Comfortable and Clean

I've had my other mat for years, and it's done me well; however, I'm certain over time it has gotten thinner. In any case, during certain poses, my knees hurt. I'm in my early thirties, I've been an athlete my whole life, so I know the importance of good equipment. The Robin was exactly what I needed: thicker than my old mat, but not pilates-mat-thick, and super lightweight making carrying it to and from yoga-pilates-contortion-pole a breeze. I couldn't be happier!

My yoga instructor recommended this mat and I am 100% satisfied. What a joy to carry something that comes with its own strap, is light as a feather, but solid to work on. Love it.

I spent a lot of time researching different yoga mats, especially since I mainly do hot yoga sculpting classes that involve plenty of cardio movements. It's essential for me to have a mat that doesn’t slip or move during my workouts. Initially, I bought a $30 mat off Amazon, but it started slipping right away, which made it hard to enjoy my sessions.

42 Birds has been fantastic! After using it for a month, I haven't had any issues with slipping—it's secure and stays in place. It's also super easy to clean, which I really appreciate. I’m thrilled to have found a non-toxic mat, and the included strap is a nice touch for easy transport.

My only small critique is that the mat feels a bit thin, but overall, I’m still really happy with my purchase. When the time comes, I’ll definitely splurge on the 6mm version!

After a handful of uses the cork truly does seem slip-proof and I love how light-weight it is for shuttling back and forth to various yoga studios in my neighborhood. Would highly recommend!

I got this yoga mat for my mom as a Christmas Gift. She loves it! She received one other yoga mat and says that the quality, comfort and durability of the Cork Yoga Mat far exceeds all her other mats. It stays in place and doesn’t move around or slip throughout Yoga Class.

This mat has the perfect combination of cushion and contact. It feels luxurious -- a real treat after using standard rubber mats for so many years. It also arrived on time with no hassle.

The reason for this particular mat purchase is because my dry feet slip (on my other brand mat) during my yoga sessions and that’s very scary when you’re in a holding pose. I’ve spent way too much money on mats and mat blankets in an effort to rectify this seriously scary problem I have. I pray that I have found the solution with this cork mat. The suggestion for this mat was to moisten it prior to a workout. So I do. I moistened the area where I plant my feet and my feet held. I’m excited but cautious that this mat might be the solution to my problem. I’ve used this mat twice, so far, but I have a feeling that it’s only going to get better with more usage. Fingers crossed. I can’t give full praise until I know this mat is the answer to my problem. From ordering to delivery everything was on time and I was kept well informed during the whole process, I appreciate that. Other than that, it’s a beautiful light weight mat and I’m excited to start the new year out with it.

Cork is naturally antifungal, antibacterial, and water-resistant, maintaining a clean and hygienic surface. *Comes with a great carrier belt. 10/10

The quality seems good and I love the style. Have only used it a few times so far, but works great!

I've used rubber yoga mats for many years and this is easily my new fave. The natural cork is beautiful and grippy and the rubber backing adds additional padding that my wrists appreciate. I wasn't sure if the thinner mat (the Robin lightweight mat) would be thick enough, but it's perfect! Light, portable, and with a good amount of cushion. Very happy.
