Extra Long Cork Lightweight Yoga Mat "The Robin"

Good grip and cushion. I love the lightweight design and natural materials. The downside is that pieces of cork have been flaking off since day one (from 30 minutes of vinyasa daily and rolling it with the cork side out). I do not like leaving a cork trail wherever I practice, but at least the bits are biodegradable. Depending on how long it lasts, I am unsure whether I will repurchase it in the future, considering the steep price. In a few years, I plan to update my review about long-term durability. If it lasts two years, I will give it four stars.

I waited a few days to give this mat a fair review — lightweight, nice contact grip — but this product is overshadowed by a horrendous delivery with OnTrac.

Punted delivery dates, confused chatbots, and misdelivered to wrong address.

I use this mat for hot yoga and it’s my favorite one to use! I feel the best grip on it so I don't need a towel over my mat. Plus it’s a low tox option which is important to me. Definitely recommend!

I like the mat alot, it has good grip. Sweat can puddle up quickly but i move away from wet spot and its gripy again when i need it. For the price its excellent.

i purchased the robin to replace a much loved, but worn-out cork and rubber mat. i'm on the taller side and never had a mat this size. it. is. AWESOME. it's much lighter weight than the cork and rubber mat even though it's bigger. practicing on a mat where i can completely stretch out and not have and not have my feet hanging off the end is a game changer. love this mat!

Mat is soft, comfy, eco-friendly, and was perfect for my 6'4" spouse!

I love my new cork mat! It’s 78” and just the perfect size for my height. I’m 5’ 11”. Now I know what it feels like to do yoga on a mat that fits!

I wasn't sure how much I would like a cork mat, but I love The Robin! I am also thrilled that it's extra long - I'm 6' and would usually end up off the mat or close to it. This gives me plenty of room to practice, and my dog usually has a spot at the end as well. :)

I do like the extra length but i would prefer it be as thick as the 72” mat which feel much much better under me (back/feet).

I am 6’9” and every yoga mat I’ve ever had has been way too short for me. The 42 Birds Robin cork mat is a dream come true. I finally have enough space to perform poses comfortably without having one foot or hand off the mat. The cork material is perfect for sweaty flows that I love, as it doesn’t get slippery and a quick wipedown with a towel afterwards is all you need for maintenance. It’s also surprisingly lightweight, and not bulky so very easy to travel with. Superb mat!

This mat is easy to care for because it doesn't smell, and needs mostly just a rinse with water to maintain!

What a wonderful mat…it allows my 5’10 frame to move and feel secure even during a sweaty practice. Quality mat, worth the $$. So happy with my purchase…and 42Birds stands behind their quality and customer service 100%.

It is wonderful to finally have a mat that is "sticky" enough in a hot class without the towel. I can focus on breath and posture with the confidence that I won't slip or trip over a bunched up towel. I'm 5'10'' and the extra length ensures I'm fully on the mat in all poses. I absolutely love my 42Birds cork yoga mat.

Love the extra length. This is first mat and I think it's perfect. Was concerned about cork but it's really wonderful. I roll it up after each use and the end does curl a bit. Comes with a good carrying strap. I'm new to yoga but highly recommend spending the extra this costs as it's certainly with it.

Because of packaging, the mat was damaged.

This is our first cork mat so really can't compare to others. I can say that the extra length is really nice for me. I am 5'11 and move around a lot and it keeps me from hanging my feet off the edges when doing certain poses. Doesn't have any real smell to it like some of the non-cork mats have. It is a little slick and not as drippy as I thought it might be. But I am guessing it needs a little more break in. I will most likely order a second one. The front an back edges have yet to lay completely flat. No matter which way I roll it. But it doesn't cause and issue and I suspect it will relax more as time goes by. The mat does not slid at all. So once down it stays in place.

Good quality. Fast shipping. Looks nice. I do wish it was wider. I wanted 84x36 and was hopeful I wouldn’t miss that 12” but I do. I had a 84x36 and a tenant at our vacation home stole ours. Other than the width, it’s a very good mat.

The best mat I’ve ever had! Non-slippery, thick enough and good for my knees, perfectly long as I’m 6’0 tall. Cork smells nicely too:)

This mat is beautiful! It doesn't slip. It's easy to clean. It is actually longer than I anticipated (didn't consider to measure the dimensions haha). It's so comfortable too while providing a firm base!

I'm 6'1 and all normal size even 72" mats just weren't long enough. This mat is perfect for those who are taller. The material is great, soft yet sturdy.

Absolutely love it!!! Cork is amazing to practice on. Especially love that it is available in an extra long size. I'm 6 foot 4 and finding a large mat can be difficult. Also appreciate the company being aware of the environment. Thanks guys :-)

I'm quite tall and was getting pretty tired of feeling like I was running out of room on my mat-- this one is GLORIOUSLY LONG! I don't need to constantly readjust to make sure my face or feet aren't on the floor instead of the mat. This is my first cork mat and I like the surface a lot-- just enough squish, but definitely very supportive. I've not tested it out sweaty/wet yet but imagine it'll have good grip for that too. Love it!

Came in very quickly, have used it almost everyday since and I love it. Because I'm taller the extra length has been really helpful and the grip is unmatched
