I bought your cork mat because 42birds was the only company that told me that it is possible to actually recycle the mat. I've been practicing for so long on a Manduka mat so I'll still getting used to the cork. I love the feel, but I have to spritz it with water for extra grip for my hands. The spritzing does interrupt with the flow of things. My feet seem to be more sweaty, and they don't slip as much. Perhaps you all can suggest a solution to my picky sort of problem. I understand the need to roll the mat up so the cork is on the outside. However, that means that the dirty rubber side (and it does get dirty because the texture is more sticky) touches the cork side. Any suggestions?

No more slipping!

Relatively new to yoga, and I always had the same complaint. I sweat when I do yoga. And that makes me slip. Finally found a mat that doesn't make me slip, and the bonus is it's all natural materials.

Best yoga mats

This is my second cork yoga mat. I loved my first one so much, I decided to get a second one to leave at a second residence I spend half my time at rather than carrying one back and forth. I love the way they feel and last. I added the yoga blocks this time as well because I knew they’d be the same high quality as the mats. I was not disappointed. 42 Birds will be my go to for fabulous cork mats and accessories.

Great yoga mat!!

I love cork products and was excited to discover these cork yoga mats. So far the mat doesn't disappoint -- the cork surface is way more comfortable than the usual rubber options. The blocks are great, too -- solid and sturdy.
