Without a doubt, taking care of our bodies is important. Between staying active, getting the right amount of sleep, and being cautious of what we eat can make a big difference on how we feel on the inside and look on the outside. 

Every once and a while, our bodies crave foods that might make us feel a bit guilty. But what if I told you, there were some not so guilty alternatives that taste just as good! 

I’ve highlighted some of my favorite guilt-free replacements below.

Happy Hour 

With the weather getting warmer, there always seems to be an opportunity for a happy hour. Instead of reaching for a sugary margarita, try Sakara’s Sedona Sunset Margarita. It’s flavorful, refreshing, and has anti-inflammatory properties since it’s packed with turmeric. 

Taco Tuesday 

If your house is anything like mine, Taco Tuesday is a big deal. It’s something we look forward to, creates an opportunity for us to cook for friends, and try new recipes. 

One hack that I’ve started doing religiously is subbing tortilla shells for Trader Joe’s Jicama Wraps. They have a great crunchy texture, aren’t overpowering with flavor, and are gluten free and vegan! 

Pizza Party 

When it comes to pizza there are so many varieties but have you ever tried a cauliflower crust? Next time you’re craving pizza, ditch the over processed flour crust for a cauliflower alternative. They significantly cut down the number of calories and carbs, which makes eating multiple slices (or the whole pie) more digestible. 

One of my favorite brands, Green Giant, can be found at all major grocery stores and won't break the bank. 

Sweet Tooth 

Instead of trying to suppress your sweet tooth, reach from some dark chocolate. Not only has dark chocolate been linked to a number of different health benefits like decreasing bad cholesterol and fighting free radicals, it’s tasty!
